SLFS Summer Showdown Winner

Thank you so much for supporting SLFS and our new Summer Showdown series! 

SLFS Film Fan Boxes are now available. 

SLFS Film Fan Boxes are now available for pick up at the Broadway concessions counter. This exclusive item is available to patrons who attended our screening of SLC Punk on September 3, 2022.  To be eligible you must provide a phone number or email to verify purchase of ticket to SLFS staff. An SLFS Staff member will sign off eligible recipients and provide you with a SLFS Film Fan Box.

Here’s the small print:

*The winning film announced in September was, SLC PUNK!  All film fan boxes must be picked up in-person at the Broadway Centre Cinemas located at 300 s. 111 E. in SLC, UT.  The eligible guest must provide a phone number or email to verify a ticket purchased for our screening of SLC Punk.  Non-Transferable. Restrictions apply. No guarantees will be given and gifts may be first-come, first-served if some items are limited in quantity. Other Audience Awards terms and conditions apply.

Films compete each weekend to be crowned the King Of Summer.

SLFS SUMMER SHOWDOWN will pit two films against one another each weekend to see what films are the champion of summer!

Cult Cinema at its best. How it works.

Friday and Saturday nights at 9 pm at Broadway we will present cult, indie, and summer cinema goodness. Every screening will include a limited edition swag, merchandise, and surprise give-aways. Collect them all!

We will announce the winning film each week on our social media, so follow us!

At the end of summer only ONE film will be crowned KING OF SUMMER. 

If you were smart enough or lucky enough to be in the audience for the film crowned King of Summer you also win! Those lucky audience members are eligible to receive our limited edition SLFS FILM FAN BOX full of exclusive cult cinema swag.*

How do YOU help determine the winner?

Each weekend your favorite films will gain ranking on our leader board according to:

1) Audience Attendance (bring all your friends!) (1 point per person)

2) Donations attributed to the film or received day of screening (1 point per dollar)

Have a favorite film? Be sure to attend in-person or donate to help the rankings each weekend.

Update: You can donate using the links below with each film.  All films are eligible for donation until midnight on 9/4.  Winner will be announced 9/6.

*Eligibility audience members must have purchased a ticket through slfs.org online ticketing systems and must have provided their email and telephone number at the time of purchase for our Audience Awards program.  Eligible audience members will be emailed from our ticket purchase system to the email provided at the time of ticket-purchase with instructions on how to pick up the box. SLFS is not responsible for lost or misdirected emails, send errors, or junk email capture, and recommends all audiences check their junk after the winning film is announced in September. All boxes must be picked up in-person at the designated venue, and within the timeframe offered for pick-up. The eligible guest must print the email with the instructions, photo ID, and their email  address at time of pickup. Non-Transferable. Restrictions apply. No guarantees will be given and gifts may be first-come, first-served if some items are limited in quantity.
