Join us for a special Q&A with visiting film artist, producer and writer, Eric Barrett after a screening of his film ECHO IN THE CANYON.

About Eric Barrett:

pastedImageEric is the Owner/Executive Producer of Mirror Films, a Los Angeles based production-company. Founded in 2003, Mirror has produced commercials for such clients as Ford, GM, Nike, Budweiser, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Target, NFL, MLB, Disney, Lincoln-Mercury, Mercedes, Hawaiian Airlines, Jeep, AXE, Cartoon Network, CocaCola, One-Touch, Time Warner, Quiksilver, Dodge, Red Baron, Toyota, and many others.

He has also produced over 500 music videos for such artists as: Paul McCartney, U2, Madonna, Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shania Twain, Mötley Crüe, Aerosmith, Joe Cocker and the Dave Matthews Band, which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Video for “What Would You Say.”

Most recently Eric co-wrote and produced the feature length documentary “Echo In The Canyon,” which documents the birth of folk-rock and the legendary Laurel Canyon music scene from 1965- 1967. The film follows Jakob Dylan as he interviews the songwriters and artists from that scene, including Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Roger McGuinn, David Crosby, Michelle Phillips, Roger McGuinn, Lou Adler, Jackson Browne, Stephen Stills, John Sebastian, Graham Nash, and Brian Wilson. Contemporary artists also interviewed included Tom Petty (in his last filmed interview appearance), Beck, Cat Power, Regina Spektor and Norah Jones.
