SLFS does not currently request proof of vaccination unless attending on our special CinemaSafe+ day.
CinemaSafe+ will take place on Mondays and on this day all guests will be required to show proof of vaccination.
While masks are appreciated, they are not required.
Salt Lake Film Society has upgraded its HVAC with high MERV-rated, and increased air outflow air.
Going to the movies in-person at SLFS is easy; you will simply need to pre purchase your tickets at SLFS.org, or directly from our ticketing portal SLFStix.org.
If attending on Mondays:
To allow access to those in our community who are at higher risk for Covid, SLFS has set Mondays aside as a CinemaSafe+ day. If attending on Mondays, please plan to show one of the following items to gain entry to the theatre – along with your pre-purchased ticket from SLFStix.org:
- Physical vaccination card
- Photo of vaccination card, on phone or printed (photo must be legible)
- Digital vaccination record
- Negative COVID-19 test result proof (within prior 48 hours)
- You may also be required to show a photo I.D.
On this day, children under 12 who cannot yet be vaccinated may attend provided they are accompanied by a fully-vaccinated adult, and they wear a mask.
Thank you for helping our nonprofit and small team of staff and volunteers thrive during this challenging, ever-changing COVID landscape.
*Full vaccination is defined as two weeks after the final dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Salt Lake Film Society recognizes exceptions based on Title 1 of the ADA and Title VII religious if notified at time of entry.
